On The Table
We got four large logs from one of our neighbors when they had a tree removed. We are going to make them into side tables for a fire pit. I was out washing them down a little before coating with some polyurethane. The surrounding trees casted some leafy shadows on the tables, and you can see one of my necessities this summer: a ThermaCell mosquito repellant lantern.

Peaceful, In Love With, Up
I kind of forgot that I hadn't posted the last three days of the February photo challenge. Better late than never I suppose ...
Day 26:
Day 26:
Peaceful
S had a recent spell of not being able to sleep through the night. We had a few days of her falling asleep in the car on the way home from dropping A off at school. This particular day, I managed to transfer from the car to the house without her waking (which never happens). I was going to force her to get up so she could nap later, but she was so peaceful I let her sleep.
Day 27:
In Love With
My little family. The bottom picture makes me crack up - it looks like I have a tiny hand, and that I am touching my chin, but it is A's hand.
Day 28:
Up
Things are looking up! Springtime blossoms

Crisp, In Between , Shiny
Crisp
We have a lot of rain lately (it is that time of year). We finally had a break in the clouds for a few days, and the sun warmed up the air and the trees. You can see steam coming off the tree as it gets warmed up by the sun. While it was warmer than it had been, and the sun felt amazing, it was still a crisp day. (day 23)
In Between
(day 24)
Shiny
S and I went for a walk the other day. We didn't make it very far; she just wanted to play in a mud puddle at the end of our driveway. She spent a lot of time finding pine cones, rocks, and leaves to toss in. We did manage a peek at the lake as well. (day 25)

OK - so maybe I wasn't quite ready for a photo-a-day challenge ...
It is already February 13th, and I haven't even posted a single photo challenge yet. I have tried to get a picture each day, but I barely feel like I have had time to even take a snapshot, let alone a well-thought out photo. It is what it is I suppose. It is just funny that I thought I might have an opportunity to play around with my camera a little bit this time. There's still time, I guess. But, for now, let's break out of the slump and get day one in the books!
Light
The morning sunlight on our ride home from preschool drop-off. This is unedited. I was playing around with some of the auto-filters in G+, and I may post (or add to this post) some of those, but for now it is just the original.

Nature/Outdoors
Normally, I would be excited about this theme/inspiration. I love taking outdoor and nature shots. Today, however, was not a day for me to get out and explore. Homework and studying called. All I had time for was to take a picture from one of our decks.

Reflection
I have decided to do a photo challenge for the month of November. I decided to do this one. The first inspiration idea is "reflection." I love reflection photos of all sorts; I have many favorites that I have taken of my own. However, the idea is for me to take a new photo each day. As stated in my previous post, I am going to be using my cell phone camera. As of now, I plan on just using the built-in camera on my phone with little to no editing. It will probably be more of a month of snapshots because of this.
The above picture is of the nearby lake in our community. This is the halfway point across from our house to the gate leaving the community.
This was also taken at the bridge at the lake.
As I was driving to dinner tonight, I noticed the trees in my rearview mirror. While at a red light, I snapped a quick reflection picture of the trees.
